Activities

The Internal Communications Advisor is responsible for managing and executing internal communication projects for their respective business units. This role involves collaborating with Communication team members and business stakeholders to deliver timely and effective communication solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives. The advisor will create and edit content for various platforms and audiences, ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality. Additionally, they will monitor and evaluate communication metrics and outcomes to identify improvements and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met through effective communication and project management.
  • Content Creation and Distribution: Develop and distribute engaging and informative content across various channels and platforms including email communication, WAT, Appspace, and Viva Engage, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality control on communication projects throughout their lifecycle, including adjusting schedules and target launch dates as needed, and proactively communicating changes with the team and stakeholders.
  • Event Coordination: Oversee the end-to-end execution of RC, EP, and MS employee initiatives and affiliate events, ensuring successful planning, promotion, and execution. This includes overseeing the Celebrating Our Champions Awards Program for RC.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate communication metrics and outcomes, using data and feedback to identify areas for improvement and best practices. Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with other Communication team members and contribute to One TotalEnergies, One Company (OTOC) events and initiatives, fostering a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Communication team and the company's strategic objectives.

Candidate Profile

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, statistics, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in communication project management, measurement, and analytics, or similar roles.

Skills:
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to plan, proactively communicate, and execute events within budget and timeline.
  • Skilled in using various tools and methods for data analysis and reporting, such as Microsoft Office suite, Appspace, etc.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively with other communication team members and stakeholders across the organization.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven, with the ability to leverage data and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of community events and communications, and to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Strong written and oral communications skills.
  • Strong graphic design, page layout and web development skills.
