As a Specialist for Korea HR, you will play a crucial role in assisting the HR functions for our operations in Korea. You will be accountable for providing HR facilitation and guidance to employees and managers, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and driving the implementation of HR programs and initiatives. Your expertise in HR operations and employee relations will be essential in creating a positive and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing HR facilitation and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, and compensation and benefits.
- Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations, and driving the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with the HR team and business guide to develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that facilitate the organization's strategic objectives.
- Assisting the recruitment and onboarding process for new hires, including conducting interviews and coordinating the onboarding process.
- Managing employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, resolving conflicts, and providing guidance on disciplinary actions.
- Assisting the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
- Assisting with the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonus calculations, and benefits enrollment.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HR operations or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations in Korea.
- Experience in employee relations and handling HR issues.
- Excellent communication and people-oriented skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience in talent acquisition and onboarding.
- Knowledge of performance management processes.
- Familiarity with compensation and benefits administration.
- Fluency in both English and Korean.
