Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and coordinate a team of software engineers in one or more areas such as software development, software quality assurance, software testing, DevOps, cybersecurity, and release management for complete solutions. Each day, you will ensure the team can execute assigned design and development activities with focus on building efficient and cost-effective solutions, in accordance with quality standards. You will also showcase your expertise by influencing and bringing value to the software product roadmap and portfolio by suggesting new features, functionality, and variants. The work model for the role is : #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to Process Automation business for Process Automation Digital division based in Bangalore Southfield, India You will be mainly accountable for: • Oversee and manage multiple cloud platforms (primarily on Microsoft Azure) serving diverse customer environments, including regulated industries. • Lead and mentor a team in incident management, problem resolution, and continuous service improvement, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and SLAs. • Collaborate with DevOps, Scrum, and Product teams to onboard new services, ensuring robust operations inputs are provided during product planning and roadmapping. • Define, implement, and continuously improve operational processes and policies based on ITIL v4, SecOps, and FinOps best practices. • Architect and manage hybrid environments integrating cloud (IAAS, PAAS) with Operational Technology (OT) deployments such as DCS, SCADA, and PLC systems, while incorporating Zero Trust security models. • Drive automation initiatives by leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles using ARM Templates, Terraform, and GitOps practices to optimize CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps. • M

Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 15+ years of extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform operations, including IAAS and PAAS architectures.
• Proven expertise in incident management, service onboarding, and operational process definition following ITIL v4 best practices.
• Deep knowledge of integrating cloud solutions with Operational Technology (OT) systems, including DCS, SCADA, and PLC environments.
• Strong proficiency in managing and automating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, and modern GitOps practices.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Bash, and proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code using ARM Templates, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Proficiency in using monitoring and observability tools such as Azure Monitor, Application In-sights, Log Analytics, Network Performance Monitor, as well as third-party solutions like Dyna-trace, Splunk, and New Relic.

• ITIL v4 Foundation (or higher)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Relevant cloud security certifications
• FinOps Certified Practitioner or equivalent cloud financial management certification or demonstrate the ability.
• Familiarity with OT security standards and certifications (e.g., Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional).
• Knowledge of modern standards such as NIST SP 800-53, CSA STAR, and ISO/IEC 27001
