Riverside Property Services manages the repairs and maintenance service to over 24,000 properties across London, the Southeast and Home Counties.
Riverside Property Services undertakes repairs, servicing, voids and planned maintenance work to our customers' homes via our in-house team and a variety of contractors and service providers who are employed on our behalf. This includes repairs to general needs, leasehold, market rent and our specialist Care and Support schemes. Our work also includes statutory and regulatory compliance checks.
As a Domestic Heating Technical Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing gas servicing, installations, PPM and reactive maintenance repairs, in the context of deliver a first-class, customer-focused service for domestic gas heating, hot water (inc direct), associated electrics, and alternative technologies, working closely with the wider property services team. You will supervise contractors, a team of DLO field domestic heating team, including gas engineers and Technical Inspectors, ensuring high quality, cost-effective service delivery, and compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining safety standards, ensuring that all works complies with GSUIR & Gas Safe standards, and we maintain 100% LGSR compliance.
About you
We are looking for someone with domestic Heating ACS Qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1. Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating/BPEC or LCL equivalent. Unvented hot water G3, Water Regs WRAS, Part L. and someone who has proven Experience in: Supervising a team of field domestic heating engineers, including scheduling, training, and improving performance.

Key Tasks
- Overseeing Gas Safe certification and reporting.
- On occasions carry out inspection, testing and certification of gas installations.
- Lead and manage the installation, refurbishment/upgrade, PPM, servicing, domestic heating and hot water (inc direct) systems including associated electrical works and alternative technologies systems.
- Effective line management of the Domestic Heating Field Team, including gas engineers. You will lead, manage, motivate, engage and support the team to deliver a customer focused service.
