The Product Analytics (PA) Enterprise team is in search of a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible to deliver customized product analytics projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of internal and external customers. As Project manager you will work closely, communicate effectively, and lead through influence the development teams, product managers, R&D, and other collaborators to ensure the successful delivery of software projects, across multiple Emerson technologies like SystemLink, O+, and be focused on the front end (pre-sales) of the assigned business. This is a highly technical role that combines project management, knowledge of enterprise software systems, custom services sales and delivery.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Accountable for project planning and execution to meet scope, cost, and timeline goals while maintaining long-term quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction
  • Proactively drive risks from projects by proposing, evaluating, and leading risk mitigation alternatives that seek balance of schedule/features/cost/quality.
  • Cross-manage project dependencies by collaborating with other managers and organizations
  • Lead projects from conception to release of the System Development Process phases to drive project features, staffing needs, and schedule while maintaining bold timelines.
  • Lead project teams throughout the different project phases, including concept, definition, planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Determine resource needs, secure and adjust resource assignments as needed throughout the project
  • Ensure efficient and timely collaboration with R&D teams, Product team, Solution architects, and delivery teams, compliance, Application engineering, and other supporting teams to accomplish the release of your project needs.
  • Optimally communicate program status, trade-offs, and risks to collaborators, including senior executives. Responsible for making trade-offs to stay within the project bounding box (scope, dev cost, timeline). Evaluates the business impact of trade-offs and makes recommendations for things outside of the bounding box.
  • Drive the planning and execution of ground-breaking initiatives across Global Operations, translates business goals into measurable project objectives, and manages end-to-end project lifecycle.
  • Apply strong analytical thinking to address current business challenges, working with collaborators to accurately define business needs and enhance business capabilities.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in enterprise software project management in the high-technology industry.
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading cross-functional programs and projects simultaneously
  • Strong, clear, and concise communication and influencing skills at all levels across the organization
  • Work ethics, proactive mentality and ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Superior problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, experience working with different regions, and culture knowledge
  • Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC)


Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of software such as Python, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Grafana) Jupyter Notebook
  • Experience working in semiconductor manufacturing floor
  • Experience working with customers in the Transportation, and Semiconductor industries
  • Background in procurement, finance, or facilities
  • German language capabilities
