Your Impact
Well Site Supervisors manages all field activities for the drilling and completion of wells, well workovers, and disposal well cleanouts. Drilling and completion projects include drilling conventional, horizontal and directional reservoir storage wells, Class I and Class II waste disposal wells, Class VI CO2 Sequestration wells, and large borehole domal salt cavern storage wells. The supervisor is responsible for managing subcontractors, scheduling work, job execution and job safety. He reports job progress and estimated field costs to the WSP project manager and client. The responsibilities of the Well Site Supervisor also include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist Project Manager with review of well drilling/workover programs, schedules and cost estimates.
• Coordinates and schedules work with approved subcontractors and vendors.
• Inspects and prepares well site for workover/drilling jobs.
• Ensures all contractor personnel comply with facility operator's site safety training requirements.
• Obtains required work permits from facility operator.
• Conducts daily job safety analysis or "tailgate" safety meetings to discuss possible hazards for the day's activities and ways to mitigate hazards.
• Prepares and distributes daily reports and provide a detailed description of the day's activities.
• Prepares and distributes daily field cost report from daily vendor field tickets.
• Inspects wells and site before returning well to Operator.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science Degree in Geology
- Minimum of 12+ years of experience in oil & gas or hydrocarbon storage well drilling, workovers or related well work.
- Preferred experience in reservoir storage well drilling
- Well Control School Certification
- Proficient Communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong commitment to maintaining technical knowledge of drilling practices and becoming proficient in emerging drilling practices and applications
- Excellent track record in providing high quality technical performance and oversight through innovative thinking and application of tools
- Ability to manage client relationships and provide technical input on pursuit efforts
