As a result of continued success in the marketplace, we are seeking a Sales Engineer for our Conroe, TX office serving the Western Hemisphere.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify potential customers and successfully close on these sales.
- Provide quarterly and annual sales forecasts.
- Develop sales plans and strategies to increase sales to new and existing customers.
- Monitor industry trends for both customers and competitors; perform market research for potential new product offerings.
- Determine customer needs.
- Prepare quotes and orders.
- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop customized products that meet client specifications.
- Track orders throughout the product manufacturing and installation process.
- Resolve customer problems and follow-up with customers after product installation to ensure they receive high-quality service.
- Determine customer training needs.
- Present technical information and/or technical product training courses to diverse audiences.
- Assist with the development of marketing materials and strategies for sales campaigns.
- Represent NOV at relevant industry trade shows.
- Comply with all NOV Company HSE policies and procedures.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
Desirable Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or equivalent technical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Coiled Tubing operations.
- Hydraulic Fracturing experience is a strong plus.
- Jointed Pipe knowledge and experience is a plus.
- 5+ years in roles related to Product, Customer Success, or Engineering.
- Direct Well Completions experience is required.
- Hands-on field experience installing oilfield systems is highly valued.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on client success.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, databases, and cybersecurity.
- Basic skills in programming, networking, and electronics troubleshooting are advantageous.
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to tailor technical discussions to varied audiences.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
- Must be fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Travel Expectations:
- Domestic Travel: 15 - 30%
- International Travel: 5 - 10%
