This position reports to
Marketing & Sales Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct proactive business development aligned with the division's strategy in countries where business conditions require increased attention and focus. Each day, you will provide business support, including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the assigned product portfolio. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring profitable business growth and sustainable deployment of the division's strategic plan. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the business development of cutting-edge ABB Variable Speed System Drives in Serial Drives Business in Murcia, Albacete, Almería y Comunidad Valenciana. You will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships, identifying effective solutions for customer needs; and to build enduring customer relationships through excellent service. You will be mainly accountable for: • Promoting the whole portfolio of solutions for Industrial market, especially for End Users within the Center-South region. • Mapping and capturing new customers according to the segmentation plan, growing in Industry, directly or through Technical Distributors, System Integrators and Service providers. • Leading to develop Marine, Food and Beverage and Water and wastewater and Solar Pump initiatives across the East and South Area, in collaboration with the market's leaders. • Prescribing System Drives solution with End Users, Public Entities Constructors and exploiting companies and mapping OPEX and CAPEX projects across the area (Murcia, Albacete, Almeria, Com. Valenciana) • Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and your knowledge of customer needs and ABB solutions. • Preparing sales plans and bids, with marketing and other departments, ensuring technical and financial accuracy. • Contributing to the identification and development of new market opportunities in collaboration with the wider Sales team. • Monitoring customer and market trends to develop effective marketing activities in collaboration with the Marketing team.

Qualifications for the role
- An engineering degree in electronics, automation or electrics.
- More than 3 years of experience in Business Development and Sales. Experience in Levante Market will be well considerate.
- Sound knowledge of Variable Speed Drives (LV and MV) and Soft Starters.
- Experience in working with End users and engineering, in terms of consultive sales.
- Knowledge in W&WW, F&B and Marine business.
- Self-learning skills and focus on new applications.
- Medium-high command of English
- Experience on Industry 4.0 needs and Digitalization and motivation for new technologies would be and added value for the candidate.
- Available to travel at least 3 days each week, for visiting customer on the Center-South Region under his responsibility.
- Highly fluent in Spanish and fluent in English.
- Current car license valid in Spain.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with strong communication and customer relationship-building skills.
