Assembler Precision Elec lvl 3

Performs a variety of duties in the electro-mechanical, mechanical or electronic area. May perform assembly operations from component level through end item integration. May use various hand tools such as Micrometers, calipers, soldering irons and other related production equipment. Use production documents and standard work to perform daily tasks as assigned. Responsible for meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and cost goals for the business. Work in a team environment to continuously improve processes by using HOS initiatives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Assemble precision electrical components according to specifications
• Test and inspect assembled components to ensure quality and functionality
• Follow strict quality standards and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
• Create, maintain, and follow process standard work
• Support standardized work adherence and provide ideas for implementation of daily improvements suggested by operators and supervisors
• Monitor your department/area to ensure all items are stored in their proper location, follow the factory cleaning standards, and continuously improve the 5S process in the area
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement actions (Kaizen); participate in Kaizen process and share knowledge
• Participate in/Lead problem-solving process by collecting, sharing, analyzing data, participate in RCCA
• Utilize the RPS board and proper forms
• Participate and Support the Tier Accountability process by attending Tier 1, 2 & 3 Accountability meetings as requested by the area supervisor
• Review process metrics as required
• Follow posted visual management process rules
• Review Production status controls and attack top quality issues
• Drive Root cause analysis and corrective action for quality based on Problem visualization
• Participate in TPM activities as required
• Participate in the design for process flows and recommend improvements
• Create SMART goals and objects that are linked to the sites
• Drive BIQ within all processes, support the escalation process and drive the rapid problem-solving process, follow their standardized work and ensure the 3 don'ts
• Maintain work areas and material replenishment according to 5S Standards
• Follow all procedures and work instructions affecting material replenishment
• Ensure kanban cards and other material replenishment signals are promptly placed in the proper locations
• Utilize setup reduction in administrative processes and manufacturing processes
• Comply with all HSE procedures, training, and other controls without exception
• Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement and participate in developing solutions to HSE problems
• Actively participate in peer-to-peer HSE behavior programs

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE • 3+ years of experience in precision electrical assembly
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
20/20 vision (correctable is fine)
Must not be colorblind*
WE VALUE • Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience with testing and inspection of electrical components
• Knowledge of quality standards and procedures
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
