We have an opportunity for an experiencedFull-Stack Software Engineer to join us at Honeywell,in Krakow. You will work in an Agile environment with teammembers of diverse Industry and Software backgrounds to migrate, develop, andenhance microservice oriented applications that are scalable in support ofbest-in-class services. These service types include:
  • Aggregated component performance & maintenance recommendations
  • Operational Recommendations & Planning services
  • Asset position tracking & reporting
  • Advanced Network Controls

This is a hybridrole, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Legacy Application Development & Migration: Re-architect legacy monolithic applications into scalable microservice design
  • Cloud-Native Development: Build scalable systems leveraging microservices architecture, implement containerized applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes, develop APIs for secure and efficient data exchange
  • Data Management and Access: Architect and implement secure data management solutions using PostgreSQL and SQL Server, ensure compliance with stringent data access and security requirements under a zero-trust architecture.
  • Automation: Implement automation pipelines for CI/CD processes, ensuring high availability and rapid feature deployment.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement zero-trust security principles, ensuring robust authentication and authorization.
  • Collaboration and Agile Practices: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects, to align on project goals.

Key skills and qualifications
  • University education with major in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related field.
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with some of the following technologies: Java Spring Boot, NestJS, C#.NET, PHP, Python, SQL, ReactJS & TypeScript
  • Experience with database management systems, data platforms (e.g. Streaming Data Platform, Kafka, Logstash, Teradata, Hadoop, etc.), and data formats (e.g. SQL, NoSQL, AWS S3, JSON, Redis, neo4j, etc.) for efficient ML feature extraction and data transformations will be valuable
  • Ability to work collaboratively with development/implementation staff through the design and build of new business processes and systems.
