Join our affiliate TotalEnergies Petrochemicals Belgium based in Feluy !

The HSEQI department of the Feluy polymers plant ( SEVESO seuil haut" site) is seeking to strengthen its team with a Process Safety Engineer. His/her missions are as follows :

- Participate in process safety management by seeking technically and economically acceptable solutions for the site in collaboration with process and production teams, and that comply with internal standards ;
- Participate in risk analyses (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL study, ATEX risk analysis, etc.) conducted on the site ;
- Contribute to ensure their representativeness and methodological coherence in relation to the identified risk acceptability criteria ;
- Continuously analyze Best Practice Rules and external studies on major risks ;
- Synthesize conclusions and evaluate their relevance considering the site's specificities ;
- Contribute to organe and participate in events and activities aimed at strengthening the safety culture on the site.

Candidate Profile

Expected qualifications:

• Engineering degree or other Bac+5 in process, mechanical or general engineering
• Typical disciplines: safety, chemical engineering, process engineering, petroleum engineering, mechanical engineering

Technical skills:

• Engineering profile in process engineering, chemical engineering or generalist with knowledge of technological and industrial risk analysis/management
• Additional training in process safety or industrial/technological risk management is a plus
• Knowledge of or interest in ATEX regulations, and knowledge of risk analysis methods (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA, Bow tie, Cause tree...)

Computing skills:

• Very good knowledge in Microsoft Office suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint
• Knowledge of Power BI

Languages:

• English: level B2/C1
• French: level C1/C2
