- Handle Pre-employment and Onboarding process for new hires.
- Conduct New Hire Orientation and complete I-9 Forms for all new employees.
- Create, organize and maintain employee files in corresponding Area of Responsibility.
- Point of contact for timekeeping questions from managers or employees.
- Complete weekly timecard sign-off for employees in corresponding Area of Responsibility.
- Point of contact to answer payroll related questions to employees and complete needed corrections.
- Prepare and provide required periodic reports to different stakeholders (Finance, HSE, Operations, etc.) as needed.
- Code and obtain necessary approvals to process invoices and submit to A/P.
- Ensure all employee terminations are processed correctly with payroll in accordance with state laws and proper vacation time is paid out.
- Assist with unemployment verifications, leave requests, and state required documents.
- Manage Quarterly Random Drug & Alcohol testing in collaboration with HRBP's.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Must have High School diploma or GED.
- 2-4 years' experience in an HR support role or related field.
- Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be highly proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to research, compile and clearly present information and data.
- Prior experience with ERP Systems is preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
