JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Handle Pre-employment and Onboarding process for new hires.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and complete I-9 Forms for all new employees.
  • Create, organize and maintain employee files in corresponding Area of Responsibility.
  • Point of contact for timekeeping questions from managers or employees.
  • Complete weekly timecard sign-off for employees in corresponding Area of Responsibility.
  • Point of contact to answer payroll related questions to employees and complete needed corrections.
  • Prepare and provide required periodic reports to different stakeholders (Finance, HSE, Operations, etc.) as needed.
  • Code and obtain necessary approvals to process invoices and submit to A/P.
  • Ensure all employee terminations are processed correctly with payroll in accordance with state laws and proper vacation time is paid out.
  • Assist with unemployment verifications, leave requests, and state required documents.
  • Manage Quarterly Random Drug & Alcohol testing in collaboration with HRBP's.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.


Job Requirements:

  • Must have High School diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years' experience in an HR support role or related field.
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be highly proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint and able to research, compile and clearly present information and data.
  • Prior experience with ERP Systems is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
