We are currently seeking a Piping Designer (offshore), reporting directly to HOD - Genesis to join our Genesis team based in Mumbai.

About the mission we offer you:

• Develop detailed piping design and layout for offshore topsides, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Utilize AVEVA E3D design software to create and modify 3D models of piping systems, equipment, and structures.
• Generate and review piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and general arrangement drawings.
• Coordinate with other disciplines, including structural, mechanical, and electrical, to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
• Perform site surveys and field measurements to verify existing conditions and incorporate them into the design.
• Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) and bill of materials (BOMs) for procurement and construction purposes.
• Review and check design deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and constructability reviews with clients and project teams.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase, including responding to RFIs and resolving design-related issues.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and drafters.

About You:

• Associate degree or technical diploma in drafting, design, or a related field with 10-15 years of relevant experience in piping design for offshore topsides.
• Strong proficiency in AVEVA E3D design software.
• Extensive experience in the design of topsides for fixed and floating platforms.
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO, DNVGL).
• Strong understanding of piping materials, components, and fabrication methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities
