You will be part of NOV's business unit Subsea Production systems (SPS). SPS is headquartered in Brøndby, Denmark, with production sites in Kalundborg (DK), Porto do Acu (BR), Glenrothes (UK) and offices in Stavanger and Oslo (No), Rio de Janeiro ( Br), and Houston (US). Altogether, SPS employees around 1,500 people globally, contributing to NOV's total workforce of approximately 34,000 employees

Making business processes matter
As a Business Process Specialist you will be responsible for mapping, monitoring, and analyzing business processes across the organization. You will conduct training and drive competence development within the company's business process management system (BPMS). By collaborating with process owners, this role identifies and implements improvements, and supports both local and global initiatives to optimize overall performance.

As a Business Process Specialist you will be responsible for mapping, monitoring, and analyzing business processes across the organization. You will conduct training and drive competence development within the company's business process management system (BPMS). By collaborating with process owners, this role identifies and implements improvements, and supports both local and global initiatives to optimize overall performance.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Facilitate process mapping workshops to document and analyze current state business processes.
- Monitor and analyze process performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Define clear competence profiles and drive competence development activities.
- Train process facilitators, process owners, and end-users on effective BPMS utilization.
- Identify, document, and share best practices with local process owners to enhance performance.
- Collaborate with process owners to implement improvements and optimize workflows.
- Set requirements for supporting tools to enhance process efficiency.
- Create and maintain process and procedure documentation.
- Support Global Process Workshops to align cross-functional processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations to enhance BPMS functionality and usability.
- Maintain knowledge of industry best practices and standards, including APQC's Process Classification Framework.
- Support local organizations in their performance improvement initiatives.
- Provide guidance on master data best practices in organizational setup and management.
Your profile
- 3-5 years of experience in an operations or process improvement role.
- Proven experience in process mapping, analysis, and optimization techniques.
- Strong understanding of competence development and training methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with business process management systems and tools.
- Excellent facilitation, training, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of APQC's Process Classification Framework or similar frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
