• Test Automation Engineer

o Description

§ Design / Build custom test fixtures and tools

§ Design / Implement test automation infrastructure

§ Subject matter expert on Honeywell Smart Metering Products, testing strategy & testing processes.

§ Create test plan, that flushes out test strategy, coverage requirements, test scenarios and the resource needs for a project. Review test plans with cross functional team (Development and other Test Engineers) to ensure proper coverage for each feature / product.

§ Create and review of detailed test plans to ensure coverage and quality

§ Create test scripts that meet the team definition of done

§ Run automated regressions, review failures, make adjustment to scripts as needed.

§ Troubleshoot and Maintain existing test fixtures. Includes debugging hardware and software

§ Able to work in Firmware Verification, System / Product Verification or Solution Verification

§ Work with cross functional agile teams located at multiple Honeywell locations around the globe

o Requirements

§ Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, ECE, or Computer Science

§ 1 to 2 Years of experience in Embedded product testing and validation

§ 0.6-1 years' Experience with Object Oriented programming

• Python Scripting

• C++/C#

§ Experience with software management tools ( SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, etc. )

§ Ability to work well with others in a team environment

§ Strong trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills

§ Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills.

§ Able to adapt and solve problems in an unstructured environment, with minimal supervision

§ Preferred - Experience with Embedded Systems (testing or developing)

§ Preferred - Electric Metering Experience ( ANSI, C12.22, DLMS)

§ Preferred - Network Communication & protocols (Cellular, IPv4, IPv6, NBiOT, RF )

§ Preferred - PC troubleshooting / maintenance experience

§ Preferred - Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools ( Jira, Rally, etc. )

§ Preferred - Hardware test, design, or debug experience. Ability to solder

§ Preferred - Willing to work as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Agile Team Lead

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
