Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Heavy Duty Regional Commissioning Leader to join our Construction & Commissioning department.

The successful candidate will ensure that all EEP/TK projects for the Americas Region receive necessary resources according to planned demand.
This role involves active participation in operations and manpower planning, coordination

In this role you will Impact quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team.

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products.
Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Impacts approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affected business organization and ways of working.

Guided by professional practices and policies that are shaped by the role. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment.

Job Description
  • Lead and manage the commissioning process for projects within Gas Power Heavy Duty New Units for the NAM the region, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operational teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans and strategies, including training and competency matrices.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to commissioning teams.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and foster professional development within the team.
  • Participate in site audits and project support, actively engaging with customers, partners, and subcontractors.
  • Lead EHS improvement initiatives and ensure personnel training in accordance with our GE Vernova SQDC Principles.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Combined Cycle Power plant installation or commissioning, and EPC/turnkey projects management

Other requirement:
  • Willingness to travel frequently (60% of the time)

Additionally:
  • Significant technical knowledge of New Heavy Duty Gas Unit
  • Advanced leadership skills with managing projects and resources in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to define and deploy strategies adaptable to environmental changes.

The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonusThe Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
