Job Purpose
Lead and manage the execution of Mechanical Completion activities by COMP8a EPC Contractor, ensuring quality, time of the work, effective and efficient delivery of various Offshore Brownfield scopes of NFPS Compression COMP8a Project.
Key Job Accountabilities
- Coordinating the execution of Mechanical Completion activities, ensuring quality, time of the
work according to project requirements. Liaising with the Construction, Commissioning and
Quality team on a daily basis, ensuring that all system/sub-system handovers are completed
in line with the schedule
- Review mechanical completion packages & dossiers which includes mechanical completion
check sheets, preservation records, commissioning procedures, punch lists, certificates and
P&IDs. Coordinate preservation & follow up preservation tasks completion & check sheet close
out
- Coordinate the overall readiness for Commissioning/Start-Up activities of systems
/subsystems/Area Completion to ensure a smooth handover in accordance with Project
milestones
- Responsible for punch list recording, monitoring and execution up to Handover by Priority.
Ensure that punch list items are accurate and properly filed, Liaising with the Construction and
Commissioning Team and subcontractors for all disciplines to ensure the correct execution
- Full knowledge of Completion Database, accurate data updating using import/export excel
spreadsheet in accordance with ITRs allocation Matrix and defined Systems/Subsystems
- Strong interaction with PMT during pre-com and commissioning phase. Leading of
Walkthroughs and Punch Leading in the field. Punch categorization and Closure, review of
Handover Dossiers and certification
- Participate in strategic decisions, constructability, risk screening, gate reviews, project
reviews and workshops (IPRs, CERs and Execution Challenges) as required.
- Generally, serves as the primary contact for OESS, Operations and other NFPS executing EPC
Contractors in support of Brownfield and tie-in construction execution and issues resolution
regarding the site's scope of work along with Offshore BF Construction Lead.
- Actively engage with Operations, Marine and Logistics organizations to solicit input, provide
feedback and seek alignment with BF construction execution plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Required to have offshore survival certificate and be able to pass an offshore medical evaluation. OPITO certification is considered a plus.
- Ability to work on or be based on offshore platform or vessel.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience with at least 5 years demonstrated experience as Commissioning Lead / Mechanical Completions Lead within Brownfield projects.
- Extensive experience with execution of MC activities both from Contractor and Client organizations as well as strong leadership qualities.
