This position reports to

SDS project manager supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

• Lead the project team with clear instructions, tasks, and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback. • Manage all aspects of the project in accordance with the client's requirements and ensure that all the technical, safety, quality, and financial objectives are met. • Oversee the development of the project plan documents with respect to scope, budget, schedule, and risk management. • Monitor each stage of the implementation of the project to ensure best practices in matters of cost control, efficient use of resources, risk management, and health, safety and the environ-ment. • Identify, analyze, and manage project risks, regularly sharing lessons learned. • Coordinate contract negotiation and equipment procurement in collaboration with the supply chain. • Build strong relationships with the clients and stakeholders. • Live ABB's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 10 years of experience in project management (concrete achievements) with international experience.
  • PMP certification recommended.
  • English-French bilingualism essential. French is required. English is also required as this position will service internal and external clients from other provinces.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with converging delivery dates in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong written and spoken communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Business acumen, good understanding of client needs, and ability to maintain good client relationships.
