Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Dublin, (this is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.)

We have an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join us at Honeywell, in Dublin, ROI where you will act as a business partner demonstrating insights of financial expertise to provide practical and actionable insights to our commercial and operational teams to drive results.
This is a hybrid role, 3 days at the office + 2 days work from home model.
Moving to a standalone, this area of business will be a newly formed global industry leader in speciality chemicals, and a 25% EBIT company, so a great opportunity to start a career on the with exciting promotion opportunities ahead.

Key responsibilities
The Senior Financial Analyst will be a part of our Honeywell Advanced Materials team, working closely with our EMEA Finance Director and Finance Manager. Responsible for analysis on a circa $650m region.
This challenging, high-exposure position is an excellent developmental opportunity for someone who aspires to hold a leadership role within Finance.
• General
1 Act with COO mindset within Advanced Materials EMEA Finance team to align business decisions which enable performance to monthly and quarterly financial commitments
2 Help drive the Finance Management Operating System (MOS) to provide right and fast financial information for business decisions
3 Support execution of financial strategies to achieve or exceed committed performance
• Forecasting, Planning, & Analysis
4 Support weekly financial pulse process ensuring commercial latest estimates (LE) are gathered and assessed, summarizing gaps to targets, and identifying risks and opportunities to financial commitments
5 Maintain close communication with financial and business leaders ensuring timely understanding of risk factors that may impact financial performance
6 Manage the monthly forecasting process and related analysis, summarizing changes cycle-over-cycle driving continuous improvement to process and visibility across all Lines of Business (LOB's) within Advanced Materials
7 Assist in Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process as well as the Strategic Annual Planning process (STRAP)
8 Support general business performance reporting for Business and Financial Leadership as needed
9 Lead analysis related to Op.Ex spend
10 Identify opportunities for Working Capital / Cash Flow improvements
• Controllership & General Accounting
11 Manage month-close process for Irish Legal Entity, coordinating with our shared service colleagues & stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
12 Support monthly accrual process, variance analysis (PPV etc.), intercompany billing, and cost centre management
13 Assist with internal and external audit requests as needed
• Costing & Transfer Pricing
14 Support annual Costing & Transfer Pricing activities in region to ensure accurate margin maintained within Legal Entity
15 Act as coordinator with Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and Master Data teams to ensure ERP systems maintained correctly
Key skills and qualifications
We are looking for a results-oriented finance professional to help drive the business' growth, productivity, and financial performance within the EMEA region. Someone who is seeking a long term, fruitful career with us, wanting to take things on that will help them to grow, sit at the table with senior colleagues, question things and voice their ideas.
• Solid, provable experience in financial analysis, preferably based on sales data, within a high €multimillion turnover business
• Qualified accountant, (preferably ACCA or CIMA)
• Proficiency in management reporting and forecasting with commentary and analysis
• Knowledge of SAP, Hyperion or other ERP systems
• Business level English communication skills, both written and verbal
