Job Description:

LPN: Responsible for nursing care under the direct supervision of the Provider/Registered Nurse. Records nursing care given and reports to appropriate person with changes in patient's condition; consults with RN/Provider when uncertain about nursing or medical act; provides basic health instructions and reinforces teaching by other health team members.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Bellin Health, you will establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their significant others to promote healing and well-being. You will provide education and reinforce teaching to ensure patients and their families understand and comply with health care instructions. Your role includes conducting diagnostic functions and data collection, accurately documenting and communicating any variations from normal to the appropriate healthcare team members. You will administer therapeutic interventions as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and continuously monitor and ensure the quality of health care practices, adhering to established standards and protocols.

CMA: Responsible for nursing care under the direct supervision of the Provider/Registered Nurse. As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at Bellin Health, you will be responsible for providing nursing care under the direct supervision of a Provider or Registered Nurse. Key responsibilities include recording patient care, reporting changes in patient conditions to the appropriate personnel, and consulting with RNs or Providers when uncertain about nursing or medical actions. You will also provide basic health instructions and reinforce teaching provided by other health team members.

Qualifications:

  • LPN: Wisconsin LPN License required
  • CMA: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) certification required and must be maintained throughout employment
