Vestas Digital Solutions are responsible for a wide range of activities all related to driving and promoting the digital agenda. The Datacenter & Cloud, Engineering and Services (DCES) Product area is focusing on accelerating digital product development by providing enterprise ready infrastructure platforms across cloud and data center in the form of Cloud, Servers (On-prem & Cloud), K8s, Databases, High Performance computer, Developer tooling, Identity and access areas.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for onboarding of infrastructure across cloud and datacenter utilizing our infrastructure platforms
• Specify, govern, and communicate architecture plans and blueprints, and act as a consultant during the design and development phases
• Promote high standards for customer engagement and cross-product alignment across our organization
• Promote and encourage re-use of existing enterprise platforms
• Continuously build up the internal demand pipeline by engaging with business stakeholders
• Provide consulting expertise to business stakeholders regarding architectural standards and best practices
• Work closely with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into architectural designs

Qualifications

• We welcome candidates from a variety of educational backgrounds. Ideally, you have 2+ years of experience with cloud or data center architecture, along with additional experience in areas like storage, database management, or on-premises data centers
• Experience in agile delivery methods (SAFe, KANBAN, DevOps, etc.) and some experience with working in a Product based organization
• Understanding of Cloud technology and Business use cases
• Experience working with architectural artefacts and other architectural disciplines (security etc.)
• Experience with Cloud network components or cloud security is beneficial

What we offer

You will be interacting with our R&D function and get valuable insights into how we provide services which in turn accelerates the global energy transition. You will have a wide network of colleagues, you will report to the Product Area Lead, and you will be close colleagues with our Product Area Architect who leads our technical onboarding processes. This is a position which can be filled with many different candidates, and it can also be shaped to address individual interest.
