LATAM North Service team is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the turbines in Mexico, Central America and Caribbean. We, in Mx North team, are responsible of servicing the installed fleet in the northern sites of Mexico. This is the newest fleet in LAT North.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of multiple wind farms, ensuring optimal performance of turbines and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively to meet operational goals, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and workforce deployment.
  • Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate turbine performance, resource utilization, and safety compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) standards.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to ensure resource availability and alignment with operational targets.
  • Maintain open communication with customers, addressing concerns related to turbine performance and service quality.
  • Lead and develop a team of Service Technicians, providing training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members to build a capable workforce.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related engineering fields.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience with SAP and data analysis tools.
  • At least three years of relevant industry experience in wind energy or renewable energy sectors.
  • Proficiency in business understanding and financial management to oversee budgets and resource allocation.

  • Proficient in leading and managing teams to encourage collaboration among individuals from various backgrounds.
  • Problem identification and solution-oriented mindset to enhance operational performance and address performance obstacles.
  • Proficient communication skills for effective interaction with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Technical knowledge in wind turbine operations and maintenance, including familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems.


Location: Mandatory, live in Baja California so that it is possible to attend to site 3 time a week.
