- Design, implement, and improve firmware for electric actuators, ensuring flawless integration with the hardware
- Develop firmware solutions from concept to deployment, which includes writing code, debugging, and validating the firmware to ensure that it works as intended
- Identify, analyze, and optimize firmware performance.
- Responsible for ensuring efficient firmware meets all the vital performance specifications.
- Collaborate with other specialists, including hardware, software, and test engineers, to ensure that the firmware is compatible and integrates smoothly with all other components of the product
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Experience working in 16/32-bit Micro-controllers / Microprocessor with strong understanding of controller architecture and peripherals.
- Expert programming skills in C / C++
- TCP/IP based communication protocols for device communication
- Low level firmware development for peripherals like Ethernet / USB / DDR / I2C / SPI / UART / Display etc
- Crafting product firmware with best industry practices to have modular/maintainable/optimized product firmware that meets expectations.
- Strong Analytical and debugging skills.
- Should have crafted system from grounds up or be a part of the project that helped develop this experience.
- Willingness to learn new technology & develop solution needed to meet product needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
- Communication Protocols - HART, Bluetooth, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET will be advantageous.
- Experience working with standard development tools for configuration management, design, and tracking.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics or Equivalent Engineering.
- 6+ Embedded firmware development experience with ability to understand hardware and work with hardware engineering team.
- Strong core embedded skills to analyze requirements, develop solutions and tackle technical issues.
- Proven experience in designing the product based on initial requirements that demonstrate end-to-end product development.
- Experience working in RTOS environment is must with detailed understanding of RTOS concepts and direct experience of developing firmware based on RTOS.
- Experience working in a global engineering environment.
- Working experience on Bluetooth & other industrial protocols like Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, HART etc for an embedded device will be added advantage.
- Working experience in developing product with Cybersecurity in mind as per IEC62443 standard will be an added advantage.
- Experience in developing firmware for product that involves motor control interface will be an added advantage.
- Experience working in Actuators / Electric actuators will be advantageous.
- SAFe Agile certification will be a plus.
- Experience working with industry standard tools for development/testing/configuration management/bug tracking.
