Your Impact

The Director of Key Accounts is a critical role responsible for driving the success of several key accounts for the Energy Storage System (ESS) & Utility Scale Solar segment at Pearce. This role will play an important strategic role in the growth of both the ESS and Solar customers and solutions offered. Your focus will be, expanding service solutions for existing accounts and identifying and securing new ones. The Director will be these customers' primary management point of contact for day-to-day opportunities and bring creative solutions to help them grow their business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of customer experience/success management and growth, strong personal and presentation skills, have a proactive attitude and ability to work with both sales & operations.

Core Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with Operations and Senior Executive teams to identify potential customers and partners
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide consistent feedback to the organization on the needs of the industry, customers and partners
  • Work with the Division Leadership Team to create and negotiate final agreements including MSA, NDA, MOU, RFP/RFI, and individual bids/proposals
  • Collaborate with industry organizations and stakeholders to increase Business Development opportunities
  • Represent Pearce at trade shows, conferences, and industry organizations

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience
  • 5+ years of Technical Sales experience or 7+ years' building or operating utility scale Energy Storage System (ESS) & Utility Scale Solar projects
  • Solid experience, contacts, and relationships within the Energy Storage System (ESS) & Utility Scale Solar industry
  • Consultative sales experience, leading the discovery of client pain points and the ability to map the right solutions to help customers solve their challenges and reach their goals
  • Deep understanding of operations and maintenance contracts including various aspects of maintaining utility scale Energy Storage System (ESS) and Solar projects
  • Fluent in Salesforce and financial analysis with proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint
  • Organized and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and quality with ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change
  • Must be self-starter, independently drives and a desire to contribute to the overall success of the divisions and overall organization

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.
  • Travel as required, up 25% for customer visits, corporate events, and trade shows

Compensation: $150,000-$175,000 yearly/DOE
