The role:
Our client is seeking an experienced QC Document Controller to support an industrial piping project in Odda. This position plays a critical role in overseeing the creation, tracking, and finalisation of quality documentation throughout the mechanical completion phase.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage industrial quality documentation processes
- Interpret piping specifications and isometric/P&ID drawings
- Track, create, and maintain test packs
- Handle mechanical completion documentation
- Follow and plan NDT activities
- Manage the inspection and approval process of documentation with the client
- Prepare and upload final documentation to client systems
- Identify and report on quality-related construction challenges
- Assist in preparing and monitoring client-required quality guidelines
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 3832-2 standards
- Familiarity with PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) standards
- Proven experience in industrial piping projects
- Ability to interpret isometric and P&I drawings
- Background in welding technologies and documentation processes
