Right-of-Way Agent - NE TX

Our client is seeking a Right-of-Way Agent to work within their facilities located in Jonesville TX, for an initial one-year assignment, likely to be extended that covers NE Texas (Lufkin, Palestine, Marshall)
Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing land and rights of way acquisition and permitting functions for new construction and operation projects within an assigned location.
• Assist with and develop preliminary pipeline routes, cost estimates and schedules for projects.
• Prepare reports related to easement rights, title updates, landowner claims.
• Prepare and negotiate legal agreements associated with real property.
• Identify and acquire permits from private, local, state and federal agencies.
• Investigate, negotiate, settle and issue checks for damage claims.
• Represent Company in public meetings.
  
  Coverage area: NE Texas (Lufkin, Palestine, Marshall)
  Travel would be considered day trips, unlikely to require overnight stays.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10 years of experience.
• Requires minimal guidance and assistance from the Land Manager/Supervisor.
• Must be an active notary.
• Must have an active TREC ROW license.
  

This is an exempt, in-office position, with regional day travel 2-3 times per week.
