Our client is seeking a Right-of-Way Agent to work within their facilities located in Jonesville TX, for an initial one-year assignment, likely to be extended that covers NE Texas (Lufkin, Palestine, Marshall)
Job Responsibilities:
This is an exempt, in-office position, with regional day travel 2-3 times per week.

Our client is seeking a Right-of-Way Agent to work within their facilities located in Jonesville TX, for an initial one-year assignment, likely to be extended that covers NE Texas (Lufkin, Palestine, Marshall)
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing land and rights of way acquisition and permitting functions for new construction and operation projects within an assigned location.
- Assist with and develop preliminary pipeline routes, cost estimates and schedules for projects.
- Prepare reports related to easement rights, title updates, landowner claims.
- Prepare and negotiate legal agreements associated with real property.
- Identify and acquire permits from private, local, state and federal agencies.
- Investigate, negotiate, settle and issue checks for damage claims.
- Represent Company in public meetings.
Coverage area: NE Texas (Lufkin, Palestine, Marshall)
Travel would be considered day trips, unlikely to require overnight stays.
- 10 years of experience.
- Requires minimal guidance and assistance from the Land Manager/Supervisor.
- Must be an active notary.
- Must have an active TREC ROW license.
This is an exempt, in-office position, with regional day travel 2-3 times per week.
