Position: Instrumentation Installation Specialist

Airswift is proud to be partnering with a major Engineering contractor in the energy sector to support the recruitment of an experienced Instrumentation Engineer. This position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact international projects with a focus on quality, coordination, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Bulk Instrumentation Expertise

• Design and specification of instrumentation hardware: cables, cable trays, hook-up systems, tubing, fittings, and monoflanges
• Familiarity with field installation practices and constructability

Standards & Codes

• Interpretation and application of API and IEC standards
• Ensure compliance with international and project-specific codes

Software Proficiency

• Drafting and layout review using AutoCAD
• Reporting, documentation, and coordination using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams within multi-disciplinary projects
• Manage long-term supplier contracts under frame agreements (e.g., tubing, fittings)
• Coordinate effectively with international engineering centres, including teams in Mumbai

Documentation & Quality

• Produce technically accurate, clearly formatted engineering documents
• Adhere to Quality Assurance standards and project-specific documentation procedures
• Maintain high-quality output under tight project deadlines

Communication & Language

• Fluent in English (written and spoken) - all documentation and communication are in English
• Strong communication and reporting skills for internal and external interfaces
