To provide global marketing leadership for the Commercial, Analytical & Medical Segments within our Industrial Automation Strategic Business Unit. The Director Marketing - Commercial, Analytical & Medical will coordinate across all world areas to establish our brands as the primary supplier within targeted applications and industry verticals. This leader will be responsible for providing direction, development and coaching to a team of marketing professionals.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Marketing Strategy:
- Finds opportunities for profitable organic and external growth through market segmentation, adjacencies identification & research
- Builds product line architecture plan (roadmap) for platform products
- Manages the product portfolio optimization including decisions on product line rationalization, obsolescence and complexity reduction
- Drives Intelligent Solutions program in partnership with BD, Sales and Solutions Teams to identify floor to cloud solutions Identify candidates for M&A and develop relationships
- Prioritizes product line development programs
- Work closely with Marketing Communications team to generate marketing campaigns and supervise their efficiency
- Actively collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Sales/Business Development teams through all phases of the product development process cycle
- Develops pricing strategies
- Communicates the strategy and plans to Executive Management for different Business reviews
Marketing Plan Tactical Implementation:
- Identification of opportunities for new product development for a given market segment. Conducts market, product, competitor and customer research to determine unmet customer needs and translate into product requirements.
- Management of existing product line: by compiling and analyzing internal and external data on customers, products, and competitors and making strategic and tactical decisions. (i.e. segmentation analysis, product life cycle analysis, etc.)
- Collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Sales teams from development through all phased of the development process cycle, and occasionally leads as Project Manager
- Regular customer visits to gain insight into market needs
- Generates market campaigns and supervises efficiency
- Pricing structure creation
- Advises promotional activities including Sales and Marketing Launch Packages, trade shows, advertising, and literature
- Develops a network of contacts internally and at end users, OEM's and distributors.
Training and Sales Support:
- Deliver product and application sales training for target markets
- Pursue new business using lead management, sales inquiry and other processes
- Provide technical support to inside and outside sales groups as vital

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics or Engineering
- 5 plus years experience in B2B marketing or relevant technical background
- Full Cycle project management expertise (from conception through R&D, to manufacturing, to customer) needed for success in this role
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- MBA or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous product marketing experience
- Experience working in Industrial markets
- Experience working with solenoid valves and other fluid control devices
