Field Operations Specialist

KBR, is currently recruiting for a Field Operations Specialist , to join our team at Ft. Cavazos, TX to support our customer, Project Manager Intelligence Systems & Analytics - Army (PM IS&A) .

Duties:
  • Primary duty is data collection at Soldier Touch Points (STPs) in the form of contextual and probative questioning of soldiers regardless of Product Lead (PdL) to be supported.
  • Review and provide insight on the Human System Integration (HSI) generated surveys/materials in advance to ensure the survey language makes sense to a Soldier (operator).
  • Review all products from the HSI Team to verify for operational accuracy prior to submission to PdL/PM for action.
  • Support all PdL HSI Integrated Product Team (IPT) Institutional Review Boards to assist in scrubbing Soldier-suggested mitigations from Usability Tests to ensure any feedback passed back to a vendor is Doctrinally sound.
  • As needed, conduct site surveys for HSI supported events to ensure resources are coordinated for and liaison is established with the target Unit to ensure maximum participation and effectiveness of the event.
  • Must be capable of understanding mission operations with the ability to convey how the PMO material solutions apply to related military operations.
  • Detailed-oriented with technical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Basic Qualifications:
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/SCI
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of related work experience is required.
  • Direct experience as a technical expert in military intelligence and/or military operations.
  • Demonstrated experience with review and application of technical guidance (e.g., operations manuals, configuration documentation, etc.) to PMO material solutions.
  • Direct liaison experience with military, civilians, and other contractors to recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree in related field preferred.
  • Army Intelligence experience is highly desirable.

Travel:

As much as 25 % travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment:

This position will be co-located with customer and other contractors in Government office spaces.

Physical demands of this position include ability to:
  • Be independently mobile.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
  • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
