What would be your main objective?
Plan and control the contracting and supply strategy, the structure of contracts, in order to ensure the provision of efficient solutions or alternatives, the fulfillment of the commercial objectives of growth, development and execution of the actions contained in the business plan, monetizing the portfolio of defined projects, building relationships of trust with suppliers/technologists and associates, through the generation of agreed frameworks, incorporating the lessons learned from other projects and geographies, optimizing the use of the defined resources, and maximizing the levels of competitiveness and minimizing the risks in the implementation of the actions, in accordance with the defined budget, guidelines of the GBU and the company.

What would be your main objective?

Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and control the negotiation and bidding processes with technical service providers and definition of requirements and scope, in order to ensure minimization of expenses and investments, interacting with the areas or internal users that require the purchase or contracting, adding added value through the search for efficient, innovative, of quality, according to the guidelines of the management
- In Operational Procurement (Source to Contract subprocess) for R-GBU, as part of the project team in delivery phase, then as support to operations, contribute to the elaboration of the Project Contracting Strategy, making sure it considers the Category Procurement Strategy, when the Project Contracting Strategy is contemplating RFQs for key equipment: define, in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders (BD, O&M, etc) the key equipment RFQ strategy that complies to the Category Procurement Strategy, lead the RFQ process, involving all required expertise (technical, legal, H&S, operations, insurance, etc.) and including the negotiation phase, for the supply and services agreements of the Key Equipment
- Coordination with the CPO: communicates to the local CPO the Category procurement strategy applicable to the geography, including frame contracts and qualified suppliers, at least once a year. provides access to key information about RFQs, Selection and Contracts, to allow global visibility on the activity and ease the PO approval in the ERP.complies with the approval process of contracts in Ariba, approves local purchase orders in the ERP on his/her perimeter, whatever the GBU, participates to the events / trainings organized by the local CPO for the Region procurement community
- Ensure knowledge about local BD pipeline and Equipment RFQ scheduling is regularly updated, as key inputs for the procurement strategies. Provide support to the Group Category Manager in market intelligence and procurement strategy definition, in particular for the countries he / she focuses on. Implement the procurement strategy, frame agreements and the procurement process in the perimeter he /she is managing; if required, provide training to the relevant people. Assess the supplier performance in the area and report it to the Category Manager. Support the Group Category Manager in improving on a continuous basis the procurement strategy and the procurement process by providing regular return of experience. Lead local supplier qualification and relationship management
- Support Origination and M&A team with market references, price trends and future technology for the ealy development of projects and adquisitions
Role Requirements:
- Academic background: Civil Engineer or related career.
- Purchasing methodologies (On-Line systems, methods for tenders, etc.) Has a proven experience in operational procurement.
- Types of contracts and relevant legal issues, proven high negotiation capabilities
- English proficiency: Advanced
- Previous experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in this area
