Sr Project Leader Spain.

MAIN PURPOSE.
Responsible for overall performance of assigned Spain projects in accordance with company established procedures and guidelines, to ensure successful completion per customer's requirements within company approved budget and plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES
-Develop an effective relationship with the Sales and Service teams to ensure effective sales to operations handovers, optimized utilization of resources, maximized pull through of service and projects.
-Manage engineers and others assigned to assigned projects.
-Control projects within required performance criteria (cost, schedule, quality, customer satisfaction etc.).
-Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
-Follow all internal Honeywell processes for reporting project progress to your management. This includes monthly project reviews and all project gates.
-Responsible for billing the customer as per the contract and to ensure that all payments are collected in a timely way.
-Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
-Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
-Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
-Ensure a safe and healthy work environment through effective communication, training, equipment/vehicle maintenance and facilities improvement. Manage safety program for assigned Projects.

DIRECT REPORTS
Sr project manager of service of Spain (5 HC).

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE
-Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, technology or another related field.
-Minimum of 10 years' experience with thorough knowledge of project execution and project.
- Skill in using project scheduling and control software.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience managing people
- Experience working in a multi-national, matrixed organization - Business fluentin spoken and written English, additional languages an advantage
-Knowledge to interpret project finance reports and terminology.
-Knowledge in project management methodologies.
-Basic understanding of product knowledge and industry standards and practices.

SKILLS
-Leadership skills and ability to perform consistently in all areas of the job assigned.
-Able to organize and execute multiple tasks, self starter, capable of executing tasks with minimum supervision.
-Ability to anticipate and resolve problems
-Strong communicator, both written and verbal
-Understanding of the principles of project's risk management.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This Project Leader will have as key function that the Pain Project business will achieve its Revenue and OI income targets, with low project deviation figures and supporting the Account Managers in the pursuit of key Service Project Opportunities. The position will be based in Madrid as will have to work closely not only with the Sales Team but also with our Italian Operations Leader.
