Join our dynamic team as a Commissioning Instrument Supervisor in the thriving industrial sector of Jiangsu, China. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the commissioning process and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Role Overview
  • Daily interface with the Yard supervision team to monitor construction scope related to instrumentation.
  • Adhere to and enforce the HSSE plan to create a safe work environment on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Plan and implement Group Quality Golden Rules.
  • Foster positive relationships with Yard counterparts, ideally communicating in the local dialect.
  • Ensure the Yard Supervision team is working with the latest project drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Provide feedback on manpower and physical progress to the Construction Superintendent.
  • Participate in the review and approval of Yard construction procedures.
  • Attend all inspections as per the Project Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
  • Review and approve Quality Verification Documentation.
  • Monitor the compilation of Manufacturing Data Records (MDR) by the Yard.
  • Update as-built dossier related to your scope of work.
  • Monitor completion of Discipline Inspection Test Reports (ITR-A's and associated Punch list).
  • Assist Material Controller in performing Receiving Inspections of materials and equipment.


Skills & Qualifications
  • Instrumentation expertise: Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems and ICSS.
  • Commissioning experience: Proven track record in commissioning processes.
  • HSSE compliance: Understanding of health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
  • Quality assurance: Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection test plans.
  • Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills to address challenges on-site.


Education & Experience
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications in instrumentation or project management are advantageous.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in commissioning roles within the industrial sector.
