The Role:

The Senior Graphic Designer generates creative strategy and supervises brand design implementation across all marketing department initiatives, leads and supports on design projects through the entire creative lifecycle.

Preferred candidates located in Pacific Time Zone: Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead the overall brand platform and visual identity system for ENGIE Impact with visual and message creative integration.
  • Oversee brand design strategy and production to support brand and marketing initiatives, ensuring creative efficacity, alignment to central strategies and adherence to the brand system.
  • Lead design workflow, resourcing and central project management through project management system.
  • Work across the Marketing department and other departments within ENGIE Impact to key stakeholders on marketing / creative initiatives as the central design liaison. Works with stakeholders to help translate their feedback and needs into creative briefs and final deliverables.
  • Manage the production and strategy of diverse integrated media including but not limited to: the ENGIE Impact website and campaign landing pages, brand and campaign videos, digital media assets, client engagement presentations and sales materials, and other specialty media as needed. Leads the production of major creative deliverables, provides regular critiques and revisions to deliverables from design team members.
  • This role requires an advanced ability to develop big-picture ideas and translate them into different design deliverables including but not limited to web, UI/UX, video & animation, digital ads, social media, presentations, print and email campaign.
  • Have a passion for design, stay up-to-date on best practices and market trends, and enjoy working in a highly-collaborative team environment.
  • Have an understanding of the behaviors and needs of end users and a project's goals to bring the right expertise and tactics that will drive success.
  • Frequently assume a lead role in creating the visual and conceptual direction on projects and should also be able to act in a support role for another designer. Mentor other designers/freelancers when necessary and occasionally manage vendors.
  • Manage own time and workload and be able to foresee and communicate roadblocks proactively. Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously is essential.
  • Frequently present work to upper management and gain approval.


Experience and Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred in one of the following fields; Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Fine Arts,
  • 4+ years relevant experience with graphic design, branding, visual storytelling.
  • May consider a combination of relevant experience with educational and other skills and abilities in lieu of educational requirements

Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Ability to use channel- and medium-specific (social media, email, whitepapers, etc.) design best practices to optimize deliverables
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, ability to manage a heavy project load under tight deadlines
  • Have a passion for design, stay up-to-date on best practices and market trends, and a drive to for innovative solutions
  • Self-motivated team player and strong communicator
  • Intermediate to expert proficiencies in:
  • Adobe CC: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat Pro
  • Animations/interactive in Adobe After Effects, Motion, or similar
  • Skills strongly recommended:
  • HTML5, CSS3 and CMS (Craft)
  • Basic use of a DSLR camera and lighting kit for photo and video content creation, event photography, and other corporate needs.
  • Basic photo and video editing.
  • Knowledge or skills in Instapage, custom illustration, SEO, Wrike or other project management tools, and sustainable marketing practices are a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Work schedules are determined by business need and manager discretion; full time employment is considered 40 hours per week

  • Business travel may be required up to ~10% of the time

The target pay range for this role is $73,000-$105,000.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Additional ENGIE benefits include a 401k plan, paid time off and annual bonus. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws.
