We are currently seeking a Consolidation sustainability data manager, reporting directly to the Head of Sustainability Reporting to join our team based in Nanterre/La Défense.

About the mission we offer you:

The Consolidation Sustainability Data Manager is responsible for organizing the reporting and consolidation of sustainability data at the Group level, within the requested deadlines. He/she analyses consolidated data reported to ensure accuracy.

He/she ensures the exhaustivity of the metrics disclosed by considering:

- ESRS requirements (including double-materiality assessment results)

- Communication needs of the disciplines, the Sustainability team and ESG rating agencies

He/she works in collaboration with various disciplines, including our IT department, in a continuous improvement mindset. He/she ensures the reporting processes and tools are updated upon needs. He/she also encourages and participates in automation processes, when relevant.

He/she understands the Sustainability strategy and management guidance over these topics to ensure the relevance of the metrics disclosed.

The role involves working with various departments to collect contributions, analyze trends, and report on the organization's sustainability performance. The work will be performed in close cooperation with the Corporate Sustainability Report Manager to ensure a full coherence between qualitative and quantitative information.

He/she will have a strong role in disseminating the Data Quality culture inside the organization, foster clear definitions, exhaustiveness, and appropriate documentation.

He/she will manage a Consolidation Sustainability Data Analyst, who will assist him/her in performing the reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with the evolving regulation on non-financial quantitative data reporting
  • Collaborate with various departments to collect data and information
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the production of the quantitative data included in the sustainability statement (planning, milestones, review)
  • Analyze reported data on the organization's sustainability performance and propose relevant reporting content to the contributors
  • Provide training and awareness sessions about regulations, data reporting processes and data quality
  • Ensure consistency between the sustainability statement and the financial statements
  • Maintain the appropriate documentation to ensure consistency and auditability
  • Ensure the sustainability reporting process complies with internal control framework
  • Contribute to the report assurance process with the third-party auditors
  • Manage and develop skills of a junior analyst


About you:

To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

• Masters degree in either finance, sustainability reporting, or engineering/IT

• A minimum of 4-5 years experience, including previous experience in either reporting activities or auditing sustainability statements

• Strong analytical skills

• Comfortable with complex ecosystem, moving environment and multi-stakeholders management

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of sustainability regulations and standards (CSRD)

• Strong project management skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Proficiency in reporting software Workiva is an advantage

• Fluent English level is required

Working Conditions:

The Consolidation Sustainability Data Manager will work in an office environment and may be required to travel occasionally. The role may require working outside regular business hours to meet deadlines or attend meetings with stakeholders. The role also involves working with sensitive or confidential information.
