Our client is offering an excellent opportunity to join a multi-skilled team , where safety and operational performance are key. You’ll be working in a technically challenging environment, helping to maintain the site’s instrumentation and control systems that support the processing of gas from offshore fields.
Based on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation, working 12-hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a wide range of instruments and control systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operation
- Carry out preventative maintenance in line with schedules and procedures
- Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs with minimal disruption to production
- Accurately complete maintenance records in Maximo and raise work requests for any defects
- Manage calibration gases and spares for testing gas monitoring equipment
- Support shutdown planning and execution
- Work closely with contractors and vendors on site activities
- Promote and uphold strict Health, Safety & Environmental standards
- Time-served trade apprenticeship in Instrumentation or similar
- HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline
- Compex certification is essential
- Experience working with turbine control systems is highly desirable
- Knowledge of compression fittings and small bore tubing would be an advantage
- A proactive, safety-focused mindset and good fault-finding ability
- Must reside in or near east Riding of Yorkshire
