We are looking for an experienced and proactive Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to manage and execute cybersecurity operations at Lynn, MA. The ISSO provides multi-disciplinary security support for DoD government security programs. This role requires a thorough understanding and application of approaches, theories, methodologies, and DoD compliance and regulation standards within a complex environment. Role Overview: As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and compliance of our classified information systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Strong working knowledge of policies and guidance including NISPOM, JSIG, ICD 503, and DAAPM.
- Demonstrated experience with RMF processes and procedures, including package development, POA&Ms, ConMon, Security Plans, Risk Assessments, system/site policies, architecture diagrams, and hardware/software inventories.
- In-depth knowledge of change control, configuration management, and information assurance processes and procedures.
- Familiarity with writing SOPs and SID plans, as well as security policies.
- Oversee and coordinate all phases of the RMF process for multiple classified information systems in accordance with the JSIG.
- Experience in handling security incidents and conducting investigations with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple secure programs and assess new areas for compliance.
- Ensure RMF integration throughout the system lifecycle, including configuration management and change control.
- Experience with Splunk or other SIEM/threat detection platforms.
- Ability to balance regulatory compliance with business needs.
- Ability to identify security vulnerabilities in a broad spectrum of hardware and software products and provide risk mitigation solutions.
- Experience with auditing large network environments with multiple operating systems and applications (Windows, Linux).
- Manage the Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment.
- Attend change control board (CCB) meetings.
- Formally notify the ISSM of any changes to a system that could affect authorization.
- Report all security-related incidents to the ISSM.
- Travel periodically in support of the organization's cybersecurity operations.
- Other security duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen.
- Current/Active DOD Secret clearance (adjudicated within the last six years) and the ability to obtain and maintain up to TS/SCI.
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 2 years of professional experience OR associate degree with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Assurance, or Information Technology.
- CompTIA Security+ certification or higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (CISM, CISSP, or equivalent).
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
