As an Electrical Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems and components. You will provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, analyzing technical requirements, and implementing electrical engineering strategies and best practices. You will work closely with the lead Electrical Engineer to design, execute, and commission material handling projects. You will collaborate with other departments to resolve project execution risks, and interface with customers to develop high-quality designs that meet customer needs.
You will report directly to our Engineering Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the company's ability to deliver high-quality, innovative, and technologically advanced electrical engineering solutions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the design and development of electrical systems and components
• Provide technical expertise and support to cross-functional teams
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements
• Implement electrical engineering strategies and best practices
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards
• Manage project budgets and timelines
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive innovation and continuous improvement

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Knowledge of electrical design principles, practices, software and tools, such as AutoCAD
• Demonstrable ability and willingness to work in a team environment while travelling up to 60% of the time

• 1+ years experience in electrical engineering
• Prior material handling experience.
• Experience with advanced electrical engineering concepts and methodologies
• Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.
