JOB DESCRIPTION

NOV is urgently hiring a Truck Driver temporarily for up to 6weeks who will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading materials in a safe and efficient manner.

This is a temporary role for up 6weeks with possibility of extension.

Position is classified as safety sensitive, and employment would be conditional on satisfactory completion of a pre-employment testing.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and delivery of parts between NOV Locations and delivery parts to and from vendors.
• Verify truck load to ensure conformance with shipping requirements.
• Help load, unload, and move products and materials.
• Perform operation, maintenance and safety checks on trucks and trailers.
• Collect documents for goods received and delivered.
• General housekeeping of vehicle.
• Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, procedures and HSE policies.
• Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have a valid class 5 license with less than 5 demerits.
• Must disclose a three-year driving history to include all accidents, violations, or suspensions on their abstract.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be suspension free for the previous two (2) years

HSE Requirements:

• Shop environment, warehouse, office, and work indoors/outdoors.
• Squatting, bending, lifting, reaching, and walking.
• This position is safety sensitive
