As a Estimator II (BMS) here at Honeywell, in Bracknell UK. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate and competitive estimates for building management system projects. Your expertise in estimating costs, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams will ensure the successful execution of projects. You will contribute to the growth and profitability of the business by delivering high-quality estimates that meet customer expectations.

You will report directly to our Estimating Manager, and you'll work out of our Bracknell Office location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our projects by accurately estimating costs, analyzing project requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate estimates will contribute to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for estimates
• Review project specifications and drawings to identify potential risks and opportunities
• Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals
• Participate in bid review meetings and provide input on pricing strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of estimates and bid document

Must Have Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMS estimating or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent knowledge of building management systems and related technologies Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Experience in estimating building management system projects
