The R&M Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the repair and maintenance operations across multiple shops. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance financial performance, improve process efficiency, ensure quality control, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the financial performance of the R&M operations across multiple shops, including cost control, revenue generation, and profitability.
- Monitor and improve cycle times for repair and maintenance processes, ensuring efficient turnaround and minimizing downtime.
- Ensure the reliability and quality of services provided by the R&M shops, implementing quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage the allocation of resources (human, material, and equipment) across the R&M shops to meet operational demands and maximize productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, logistics, and engineering, to streamline processes and resolve operational challenges.
- Analyze performance data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and manage budgets for the R&M operations, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the shop managers and their teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence.

- Proven experience in managing repair and maintenance operations, preferably in a multi-site or regional capacity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control principles.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality control practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis, project management, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Oilfield Services, or Business discipline.
- Minimum 10 - 15 years of operational, functional, or country management experience within the oilfield services industry.
- Minimum 5-10 years in leadership or managerial roles, preferably in repair & maintenance operations.
- Certification or training in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Training in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards is preferred.
