We are seeking a motivated and experienced Line Manager for our Service Tools Team within the Turbine Operations Engineering department. The team is engineering service tools solution to support optimizations of the Vestas fleet but is also part of providing input and quality assurance to tools development in relation with launch of new wind turbine platforms
The ideal candidate will lead a team of skilled engineers, executing excellence in design and implementation to support our advanced turbine technology.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Line Manager for our Service Tools Team within the Turbine Operations Engineering department. Responsibilities
- Deliver on the performance objectives of the department.
- Ensuring good focus on employee wellbeing with attention to individuals both on regular 1:1 calls but also in casual check in with the team members
- Support and build a growth environment where everyone in the team is working with a solid development plan
- Ensure resource pool is maintained/developed with respect to capacity and competencies
- Be part of or potentially support effective cross-functional development both in own department but also across organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor / Master's in Any Engineering / Business Administration / Similar specialization
- Experience within the wind power business with people or project leadership role will be a requirement
- Proficient in English both written and verbal
- Service operations knowledge and business acumen will be valued
- Experience from larger organizations where international leadership is part of daily business will be desired
Competencies
- You are a highly effective communicator, skilled at collaboration, and have a solution-oriented attitude within a wide variety of stakeholders
- You have proficiency in structuring your work, are customer oriented (mainly internal), strategically involved and have a pragmatic approach to opportunities
- You are result oriented and can plan your own time/tasks within your department
- You are willing to make your own decisions within the given mandate
