Over NOV Etten-Leur

NOV Etten-Leur is een productie faciliteit wat onderdeel is van NOV Rig Technologies. In Etten-Leur ontwikkelen en produceren wij gereedschap welke gebruikt wordt in de olie en gas industrie.

De productie afdeling bestaat uit drie productie cellen die elk verantwoordelijk is voor een reeks productgroepen. Elke productie afdeling beschikt over zijn eigen productie middelen & medewerkers zoals CNC machine medewerkers, bankwerkers, lassers, NDT'ers en assemblage medewerkers.

Functie omschrijving

NOV Etten-Leur is momenteel op zoek naar een Cell Captain voor de Slip Cell productie afdeling, Als Cell Captain werk je in een 2-ploegensysteem van 05:30 tot 14:00 uur in de vroege dienst en van 14:00 tot 22:30 uur in de avonddienst. Deze rol is cruciaal ter ondersteuning van een team van machinale en niet-machinale medewerkers. Daarnaast verantwoordelijk voor het waarborgen van de veiligheid, het naleven van kwaliteitsprotocollen, verzorgen van training, communicatie over werktoewijzingen en het inzetten van medewerkers op de benodigde taken gedurende de dag. Bovendien vereist deze functie inzicht in het productieproces en het vermogen om in teamverband samen te werken. Helder en duidelijk communiceren zijn essentieel voor succes in deze rol. De Cell Captain rapporteert direct aan de Cell Manager.

Voornaamste verantwoordelijkheden:

• Inzet van de medewerkers.
• Uitvoering van Health, Safety & Environment en kwaliteit.
• Naleving van de planning.
• Bewaken van de productievoortgang.
• Instrueren en begeleiden van de medewerkers.
• Doelmatig gebruik van productiemiddelen, gereedschappen en meetapparatuur.
• Toezien op naleving van de voorschriften.
• Advisering aan Engineering

Functie eisen:

• Je hebt een MTS opleiding of werk-en denkniveau.
• Je beschikt over leidinggevende capaciteiten.
• Je beschikt over goede computervaardigheden.
• Je hebt technische kennis van de producten.
• Je hebt goede kennis van de Engelse en Nederlandse taal in woord en geschrift.

NOV Etten-Leur is a manufacturing facility and part of NOV Rig Technologies. We design and produce specialized tools used in the oil and gas industry.

The production department consists of three production cells, each responsible for a specific range of product groups. Every cell operates with its own resources and team members, including CNC machine operators, metalworkers, welders, NDT technicians, and assembly staff.

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Cell Captain for our Slip Cell production department. This role operates in a 2-shift system:

• Early shift: 05:30 - 14:00
• Late shift: 14:00 - 22:30

As Cell Captain, you play a key role in supporting a team of machining and non-machining employees. You are responsible for maintaining safety standards, enforcing quality protocols, assigning daily tasks, coordinating workforce deployment, and ensuring effective communication across shifts. A solid understanding of the production process and the ability to work closely with others is essential. The Cell Captain reports directly to the Cell Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign and deploy staff throughout the day.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) and quality standards.
• Ensure planning compliance and monitor production progress.
• Instruct, coach, and support team members.
• Optimize the use of production resources, tools, and measuring equipment.
• Ensure adherence to internal procedures.
• Provide feedback and advice to Engineering.

Requirements

• MTS level education or equivalent technical background.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Solid computer literacy.
• Technical knowledge of the products.
• Fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
