As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency in the aerospace industry. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way aircraft operate. Your expertise in systems engineering, project management, and technical guidance will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions.

You will report directly to our Director of Engineering, and you'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location.

Join a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex systems within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will have ownership for systems at every aspect of the systems lifecycle; from the front end of business development through product end of life. You will work across disciplines within the Aerospace business to drive growth and reach critical business milestones.

• Requirements analysis

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 5+ years of experience in conducting advanced system tests in the aerospace industry
• 3+ years of experience with DOORS / AET/ AECS/ ClearCase, Clear Quest, Teamcenter expertise
• 3+ years of experience with hardware design and/or software development
• 3+ years of experience with Avionics platform
• Ability to speak, read and write in English
