As a Sr Advanced Embedded Software Engr, withinour (NGA) Next-Generation Avionics group, you will play acritical role in the design, architecture and deployment of cutting-edgeDisplay Systems that enhance the situational awareness and decision-making capabilities of pilots, by delivering innovative features, implementingfunctionalities, enhancing the user experience and the overall advancement oftechnology.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on thedevelopment and advancement of cutting-edge Anthem Displays Platform software. Yourtechnical expertise and innovative mindset will be crucial in driving thesuccess of our embedded software projects. Join us in revolutionizing the waypilots interact with aircraft systems and ensure that our avionics systemscontinue to lead the industry in innovation and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement advanced software solutions for Avionics Display systems, applications and services, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user-friendliness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define requirements, design software architectures, and implement software modules.
  • Leverage your technical expertise in software engineering to drive innovation and deliver high-quality solutions for Anthem Display systems.
  • Drive technical excellence and innovation, ensuring software solutions meet project goals and quality standards

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in embedded software development
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ software development.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Understanding various software development life cycles, methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Open GL, etc
  • Experience developing software in a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS)
  • Experience in Embedded software development for aerospace, avionics, display technologies, or related industries.
  • Experience with Avionics products is of value i.e. Displays & Graphics, Flight Mgmt, Flight Planning, Flight Controls, Flight Displays (PFD), Traffic Collision Avoidance (TCAS), Crew Alert Messaging (CAS), Terrain, Radios, etc
  • Experience operating in an Agile framework desired
  • Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices.
  • Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
  • Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
