Your role and responsibilities

We are looking now for a new Area Sales Manager to join us at the Motion Services to work with end-customers in Ostrobothnia region, preferably located in Vaasa, Pietarsaari or Kokkola. In this role, you will be responsible for the sales of life cycle services of motors, generators and drives and developing the business. You will mainly serve diverse end-customers in your allocated region. This role requires frequent traveling, approximately 80-120 days per year. The key to this role is collaboration and having an active, open mindset for creating solutions to help our customers succeed in their business. As you will be working in co-operation with our local sales and operations teams to develop the existing and new business, a team player having a "can do"-attitude with good communication skills are highly appreciated parts of your personality. The work model for the role is #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Taking responsibility for developing and ensuring our sales of life cycle services of motors, generators and drives to meet our set targets • Establishing and maintaining close relationships with our key customers and ensuring added value from our solutions to support their business. • Creating offers, being responsible on closing the sales, developing your sales planning, financial performance in your allocated region. • Collaboration as a part of our local sales team where you will both help the team with your expertise and receive support from others. • Executing Motion Services strategic goals.

Qualifications for the role

• BSc. or MSc. level degree from a commercial or technical field
• Proven track-record from B2B sales positions in a relevant technical or industrial field
• Excellent networking skills - you gain energy from interaction with customers
• Goal oriented personality - you enjoy challenging yourself and are proactive about it
• Convincing and engaging presentation skills
• Familiarity with common IT tools, such as MS Office and solid experience from CRM systems (eg. Salesforce).
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken. Swedish skills are seen as an advantage.
