System Completion Specialist


 

Job Purpose

The Systems Completions Database Specialist supports the management of the Hexagon Systems Completions Database and guides EPC Management Teams in ensuring the safe and successful delivery of all system completions aspects across the project. This includes database oversight, walkdown coordination, punch list validation, tag/ITR allocation, and preservation traceability, ensuring strict adherence to project procedures and milestones.


Key Job Accountabilities

  1. Stakeholder Coordination

    • Act as a primary interface with EPC Contractors, QC, OES, Operations, and Completions Teams across NFPS project areas, including Turnover and Walkdown Engineers.

  2. Walkdown Execution Support

    • Assist and guide the walkdown teams with schedule planning and execution per project-specific walkdown and punch list procedures.

  3. System Completions Procedure Oversight

    • Ensure EPC Contractors are adhering to all project-defined System Completion procedures and provide support to reinforce compliance.

  4. Certification Database Integrity

    • Support EPC Contractors in maintaining an up-to-date certification database (Hexagon), identifying and addressing deviations by coordinating with contractors, engineering teams, and relevant stakeholders.

  5. Preservation Oversight

    • Support preservation teams in executing routines and ensure complete audit traceability is maintained in the System Completions Database.

  6. Issue Resolution Support

    • Collaborate across departments to address and resolve issues affecting the completion and handover process.

  7. Systemization Support

    • Assist in reviewing and collecting project data necessary for system and sub-system systemization within the completions database.

  8. Tag & ITR Allocation

    • Support EPC Contractors in assigning tags and ITRs according to project scope, priorities, and milestones.

  9. MOC and Sub-System Boundary Review

    • Participate in the evaluation of MOC boundaries and identify overlaps with sub-system limits; ensure certification interfaces are correctly aligned and updated in the database.

  10. Reporting Consistency

  • Ensure consistency in the generation and review of check sheets, punch lists, exception reports, and system readiness reports.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Sciences or Engineering.


Knowledge and/or Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with at least 5 years in a similar role.

  • Proven expertise in Systems Completions Database management and reporting.

  • Proficient in Hexagon – experience is mandatory.

  • Knowledge of Power BI is a strong advantage.

  • Solid understanding of project execution environments, with broad experience across engineering, construction, and systems completions.

  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to work in diverse, multicultural teams.
