JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary Responsibilities

• Support painting and material handling activities across production lines.
• Operate forklifts and industrial equipment to transport and load tanks.
• Serve as backup painter and assist with coating and surface prep.
• Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness in compliance with company standards.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures with minimal supervision.

Job Duties

• Operate necessary machinery and tools to complete assigned work.
• Safely load finished tanks onto trucks using forklifts of various sizes.
• Prepare tank surfaces before and after coating operations.
• Apply coatings using airless and conventional spray systems as needed.
• Assist with final detailing and quality checks of completed tanks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Wear proper PPE and follow all NOV safety and quality policies.
• Complete tasks according to manufacturing schedules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 2 years of coating and sandblasting experience preferred.
• Basic Mechanical knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Experience with operating a forklift is required
• Willingness to work overtime and different shifts as needed.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for up to 10 hours daily.
• Capable of lifting up to 45 lbs. regularly and pushing/pulling heavy loads.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as shoveling, sweeping, or fastening.

Pay Range

• $22.20 - 23.70 per hour
