Basic Function
Lead the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team to ensure safe and efficient execution of project deliverables across Brownfield modifications, Greenfield installations, commissioning, start-up, and final handover to asset operations. The role demands strong coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure uninterrupted facility operation and alignment with project objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
a) Planning & Supervision of Shift Activities

Plan, prioritize, and supervise operational and maintenance tasks during shifts.

Allocate responsibilities among team members to meet safety, reliability, and production targets.
b) Procedures Development & Implementation

Participate in developing and reviewing work packs, isolation plans, and blinding lists.

Implement approved procedures, and continuously assess and optimize operational effectiveness.
c) Manpower Deployment

Contribute to manpower planning and resource allocation to meet dynamic project needs.

Monitor team performance and adjust deployment strategies based on project priorities.
d) Maintenance Planning & Coordination

Collaborate in planning project start-up and shutdown activities.

Coordinate all tie-in and commissioning works related to Brownfield and Greenfield operations.
e) Operational Continuity & Compliance

Ensure procedural compliance and continuity during shift transitions.

Oversee shift activity logging, consumable inventory, and handover briefings.
f) Training & Development

Identify skill gaps and support individual and team development through training programs.

Monitor performance, guide staff growth, and promote team capabilities.
g) Incident Management

Act as On-Scene Commander during emergencies alongside the Person-in-Charge (PIC).

Lead first-line response actions in coordination with the Barge OIM or Asset OIM.
h) Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Compliance

Ensure adherence to HSEQ standards and procedures across operations.

Promote safety culture and maintain asset and personnel protection standards.
i) Reporting & Documentation

Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports detailing progress, incidents, operational KPIs, and improvement initiatives.

Provide recommendations and document operational challenges and resolutions.
Minimum Requirements

Education:
High School Graduate with successful completion of the National Certificate (NC) in a relevant technical field. -
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with extensive background in operations and maintenance. -
Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of production systems, control systems, and project operations.

Proven ability in team supervision, planning, and execution under pressure.

Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.

Proficient in technical writing, computer usage, and operational software tools.
