RPS Downhole Tools Specialist

Mission

The Downhole Tools Specialist is responsible for maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to Customers. The Downhole Tools Specialist identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, implements standard work, and manage, risk during service delivery.

Responsibilities

Redress and inspect DLT packer and Bridge Plug as per SLB/supplier standard/guideline

Able to run torque and drag simulation and advise heavy weight drill pipe requirement and required annulus pressures

Prepare, review and submit DHT job program and hydraulic calculation

Prepare drill pipe tally and revise as per actual

Run DLT Packer and install BP to setting tool interfacing with WL unit

Record actual parameters e.g. weight, DP tally, circulation, volume, pressure etc.

Provide post-job treatment report

Troubleshooting during operation

Technical and operational lead in investigation

Additional Responsibilities

• Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time.
• Responsible for service delivery execution.
• Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement programs.
• Develop customer contacts to promote company products and services.
• Ensure company and regulatory standard compliance by implementing the CAT, self-assessments, and wellsite inspections.
• Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans.
• Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives.
• Wear PPE and observe HSE policies.
• Maintain the required safety training.
