In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with strategically important clients. Assigned to several key accounts, you will drive business growth by delivering exceptional service and customized solutions that meet client needs.
This role requires a strong understanding of NOV's product portfolio, outstanding communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to cultivate long-term, value-driven relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, promptly addressing their needs and concerns.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction to encourage repeat business and long-term loyalty.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed targets.
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and convert them into sustainable partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals tailored to each client's needs.
Client Support & Relationship Building
- Provide product and service information, training, and support to clients.
- Proactively resolve client issues and handle complaints to maintain trust and satisfaction.
- Keep clients informed on new products, updates, and enhancements.
Market Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, account status, and market dynamics.
- Provide actionable insights and feedback to internal teams based on client interactions and market intelligence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, preferably in oilfield services or related activities.
- Proven experience in a Sales Account Manager or similar role, with a solid understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Deep knowledge of field operations and the oil & gas sector.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities with both new and existing clients.
- Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Arabic is required.
